CoreXchange Promotes One, Adds Two to Sales Team

CoreXchange, provider of the most comprehensive suite of data center and network-layer managed services, today announced the promotion of Trey Berndt to Account Director, and the addition of Shawn Armstrong and Troy Phillips to its sales team.

All three will leverage their expertise to sell colocation and network services out of the company's Dallas Infomart data center and the CoreXchange Connection, the company's newest SAS (News - Alert) 70 Type II audited data center.

Trey Berndt was promoted to Account Director in 2010 after successfully growing the customer base, demonstrating excellent product knowledge and providing outstanding customer support. "Trey's performance at CoreXchange directly contributed to his advancement -- he has consistently increased revenue by bringing the company new customers and has expanded the services provided to xisting clients," said Julia Morgan, CoreXchange Executive Vice President of Sales.

Shawn and Troy come to CoreXchange each bringing more than 15 years sales experience in information technology and Internet services and were most recently with The Planet (News - Alert) Internet Services.

Shawn's experience includes managed hosting, colocation, Internet and professional services, and he has consistently met and exceeded sales quotas in former positions with Alpheus, VeriCenter, Savvis, Global Crossing, and Logix Communications.

Troy has proven his sales abilities and product knowledge in technology by significantly increasing market share in former roles with NaviSite, Wire One Communications (News - Alert), Qwest Communications, Level3, Genuity/GTE Internetworking and Target Vision.
