Quest Software Announces Latest Edition of Foglight for Application Performance Monitoring

Quest Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: QSFT) today announced the general availability of new features to Foglight^®, its flagship application performance monitoring (APM (News - Alert)) product. The availability of these new features is part of Quest's ongoing industry leadership as a recognized innovator of solutions that simplify APM.

• Enhanced user experience monitoring visibility: New performance SLA reports for IT executives and content delivery network-compatible instrumentatin for before/after comparisons that simplify management of the end user experience.
• Java single trace enhancements: Low overhead Java traces can be triggered using HTTP parameter matching, while workflows trace slow Java code back to affected web users.
• Cross-platform database views: New global displays allow viewing of high level details on any database without the need for drilldown.
• Expanded single sign-on support: Allows access to Foglight without authenticating beyond your initial Windows credentials. Sharing performance monitoring views with others on your network just got easier.
