SkyCross Names Dr. Bami Bastani to Board of DirectorsVIERA, Fla. --(Business Wire)-- SkyCross (News - Alert), a global developer and manufacturer of advanced antenna and RF solutions that are powering the emergence of 4G networks, today announced the appointment of Bami Bastani, Ph.D., to its Board of Directors. Dr. Bastani is the Chairman and CEO of B2 Global Consulting, LLC, a management consulting firm focused on enabling corporate transformation. His expertise is in leading high-growth, multinational communications businesses. During a three-year period from 2005 to mid-2008, ANADIGICS reported 13 consecutive quarters of growth at 38 percent CAGR, delivering both positive cash flow and solid profitability. From 1996 to 1998, Dr. Bastani was Executive Vice President of Fujitsu (News - Alert) Microelectronics, whre he led the Systems LSI Group, including ASIC System-On-Chip, Local Area Networks, Spark processors, and RFICs-all key business units responsible for developing semiconductor products for the U.S. market. Previously he served for more than a decade at National Semiconductor where he held several key executive positions including Vice President and General Manager of the Embedded Technologies Division. Dr. Bastani is also a director of Nitronex Corporation (RF semiconductors), CorMedix, Inc. (pharmaceuticals), and VSSB Medical Nanotechnology, Inc. (nano-sensors and wireless medical diagnostics). He serves on the advisory boards of Petra Solar, Inc. (solar and smart grid technology) and SiTune Corporation (CMOS tuner products).
