BRIEF: Shred and Recycle It event set for April


Feb 12, 2011 (The News & Observer - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Raleigh Recycling will be celebrating the end of tax season and Earth Day with a Shred and Recycle It event.

Raleigh residents can shred and recycle old documents on April 16 from 9 a.m. to noon at Oak Park Shopping Center.

Up to three banker sized boxes are allowed per person, and only paper will be accepted. No DVDs, CDs, disks or other forms of media will be accepted.

Shred and Recycle It! is sponsored by Raleigh Recycling, ProShred Security, Oak Park Shopping Center and the N.C. Department of Justice.


Oak Park Shopping Center is at 5208 Hollyridge Drive in Raleigh.
