Acoustic Technologies Showcases SoundClear Software at 2011 International CES Show

Jan 20, 2011 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Acoustic Technologies, a provider of audio software for hands-free products, announced that over 40 Bluetooth products using its SoundClear software solution were on display at the 2011 International CES from headset, car-kit, PND, and car audio vendors.

The widely deployed SoundClear solution is the choice of consumer electronics suppliers that want to deliver the highest level of hands-free performance. Over 10 Tier 1 vendors were displaying SoundClear-enabled products and six of these were recognized by the CES Innovations Design and Engineering Awards committee.

"The broad adoption of our SoundClear products by these companies showcases our success and the value our customers gain from our products, tools, and audio expertise," said Bob Ackmann, CEO Acoustic Technologies. "During the recent economic downturn we continued to invest in development to further extend our hands-free leadership." SoundClear hands-free software offers a fully integrated noise and echo solution along with music processing tailored to the application and vendors' preferences. Acoustic Technologies brings new and emerging voice technologies such as ambient aware processing for Rx and Tx channels, FlexEQ, and wideband audio. SoundClear is supported on the CSR BC5-MM, TI DSPs, and various flavors of the ARM family of products. New revisions with further performance enhancements and new features will be released throughout 2011 to further extend Acoustic's audio leadership across applications requiring high-performance echo cancellation, noise reduction and voice quality.
