SAP makes changes in its Global Field Organization


(Telecomworldwire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) German business software provider SAP AG (NYSE:SAP) (Frankfurt:SAP) said today that it has made new appointments in its Global Field Organization (GFO) and in the leadership of its North American and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regions.



The GFO has been aligned into four key areas, with the leaders of each reporting directly to SAP co-CEO Bill McDermott.

Jose Duarte has been appointed president of Global Services, which includes SAP Consulting, SAP Education, SAP Custom Development and SAP Maintenance Go-to-Market. Eric Duffaut becomes president of Global Ecosystem & Channels, Robert Enslin is president of Global Sales and Sanjay Poonen has been named president of Global Solutions Go-To-Market.


Meanwhile Franck Cohen has been appointed president of SAP EMEA, assuming Duarte's prior role, and Robert Courteau becomes president of SAP North America, taking on Enslin's former role.
