[November 23, 2010] News Corporation to acquire 90% stake in Wireless Generation Tweet Nov 23, 2010 (Datamonitor Financial Deals Tracker via COMTEX) -- News Corporation, a diversified international media and entertainment company, has agreed to acquire a 90% stake in Wireless Generation, Inc., a developer of software tools, systems and services, for approximately $360 million in cash. Both the companies are based in the US. Upon completion of the transaction, Wireless Generation will become a subsidiary of News Corporation and will be managed by founder and CEO Larry Berger, President and COO Josh Reibel, and Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer Laurence Holt, who will collectively retain a 10% stake in Wireless Generation.
