[November 05, 2010] BRIEF: Scripps Networks, AT&T battle over video rights Tweet KNOXVILLE, Nov 05, 2010 (The Knoxville News-Sentinel - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- For the time being, AT&T U-verse cable TV subscribers will have to live without cooking celebrity Rachael Ray and rapper turned home remodeler Vanilla Ice. AT&T U-verse customers no longer have access to HGTV, DIY Network, Food Network and other popular Scripps Networks cable television programming, after the companies couldn't reach a deal. Both companies issued statements on Friday blaming the other for the failed negotiations. The contract between Scripps and AT&T ended early this morning.
