Bigfoot Entertainment Forms Distribution DivisionNov 05, 2010 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Bigfoot Entertainment, Inc. said it has opened the doors on its latest venture, Bigfoot Ascendant Distribution, its theatrical and home entertainment distribution division and foreign sales arm. According to a release, the new branch of Bigfoot, an international entertainment company, is currently looking to acquire feature films to complement its current roster. "Our goal is to be producer-friendly," said Kacy Andrews, CEO of Bigfoot Entertainment and Bigfoot Ascendant. "As a company producing independent films for the global marketplace, we know what producers want because we've been in their shoes. We aren't looking to compete with the big studio distributers; we're simply filling the void of mid-level opportunities that we've seen while on the other side of the fence."
