Running from July to October 2010 and sponsored by Allnet, the competition was open to all developers equipped with a snom XML mini browser, available on snom 8xx and snom 3xx series phones.

In the business category, first place was awarded to Belgian, Rgis Scyeur, for his twitter client application that allows snom phones to search tweets based on a specified search criteria. Second place went to Tobias Lange for his alarm clock application for the snom 370, while Tobias Engel was awarded third place for his Feed Reader app.

In the lifestyle category, South African, Shaun Crous, scooped top prize for his Weather App, which allows users of the snom 870 to retrieve local three-day forecasts direct to their phones. Michael Kuron's Flickr application was named second place winner while his Wikipedia app for snom phones landed third place.

The competition was judged by a panel of leading industry experts, including; Sandra M. Gustavsen of T3i Group (USA), Frank Ochman from the IP Phone Forum (Germany), Matt Marlor of AuTechHeads (Australia), Olivier Gerling, CEO of snom France and Hirosh Dabui, author of 'snom minibrowser'. The applications were assessed in terms of originality, graphical implementation, technical difficulty, scalability, installation cost and application diversity.
