EMS Global Tracking Taps Simon van den Dries as VP of Global SalesOct 15, 2010 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- EMS Global Tracking, a division of EMS Technologies, said that Simon van den Dries has been appointed VP of Global Sales, reporting to Dino Koutrouki, general manager. In a release, the Company said that van den Dries will oversee sales operations for both direct and indirect sales in the division's eight global regions, focusing on key markets, including Government & Military, Transport and Energy. EMS Global Tracking is a leader in tracking and enhancing the security of people and assets in remote or insecure areas. Prior to his work with GE, van den Dries held senior international sales roles with SES, a global satellite operator, managing 50 fully-owned geostationary satellites, where he led new sales and marketing initiatives for the Africa Region, Spain, Benelux and Italy. He also held European sales roles with global telecom hardware maker Nortel Networks and Dutch IT integrator Detron Telecommunications in the Far East.
