Franklin Wireless to introduce M600W embedded module

Oct 08, 2010 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Franklin Wireless, a provider of dual-mode Wimax and CDMA modems for 3G and 4G wireless broadband data communications, has announced that it will introduce its new M600W embedded module.

The M600W is a single-mode (Wimax) embedded module and is expected to be available in October 2010. The M600W features a Mini PCI express card form factor, and is designed to be integrated into laptops, netbooks, portable media players, E-books, tablets and machine-to-machine products that operate over WiMAX networks.

OC Kim, president of Franklin Wireless, said: "With the ongoing deployment of WiMAX networks around the world, it made sense for Franklin Wireless to develop a WiMAX only embedded module solution. The M600W addresses a new and growing market opportunity for our company and is a great addition to our growing portfolio of high speed wireless devices." http://www.datamonitor.com Republication or redistribution, including by framing or similar means, is expressly prohibited without prior written consent.
