Basware takes over TNT Post's connectivity operationsOct 05, 2010 (MANAVIGATOR via COMTEX) -- Finnish Basware (HEL:BAS1V), a provider of software for financial processes, said on Tuesday it had struck a deal to buy the Dutch connectivity business of posting services company TNT Post, for an undisclosed sum. The deal is in line with BaswareaEUR(TM)s plans to boost its automation service offering and expand its e-invoicing network in central Europe, the buyer said. TNT Post's connectivity business, part of electronic invoicing operations in the Netherlands, serves more than 100 e-invoice customers and makes nearly one million transactions per year. The customers served by the TNT PostaEUR(TM)s connectivity operations will be transferred to Basware by the end of this year. Basware, offering invoice automation, procurement, planning and reporting, connectivity and data capture solutions, said it was looking for acquisition opportunities in the e-invoice sector in Europe.
