US Marketron announces mSnap's takeoverSep 30, 2010 (MANAVIGATOR via COMTEX) -- US media software developer Marketron said yesterday it had taken over local mSnap, a provider of mobile advertising solutions, for an unrevealed sum. The united Marketron and mSnap solutions will enable media companies to gain access to new digital sales streams, improve the interactivity of broadcast programming and support the loyalty of audiences. The takeover is part of the integrated digital strategy of Marketron, which aims to allow media firms "to sell and fulfil both digital and traditional assets through a single, integrated platform," the company said in a statement. The Jordan Edmiston Group Inc acted as exclusive financial advisor to mSnap.
