Geotab selects Quake's hardware to provide fleet telematics solutionSep 21, 2010 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Geotab, a provider of telematics solutions, and Quake Global, a manufacturer of machine-to-machine communicators for multiple satellite and terrestrial networks, have announced the availability of Geotab's GO4v3 telematics device supporting global satellite data coverage with Quake's Q9612 satellite modem. According to Geotab, the new generation GO4v3 is a compact device that provides a broad array of remote telematics and emergency information. It supports multiple terrestrial communication protocols and can interface with numerous sensors. With the inclusion of Quake's Q9612 satellite modem, Geotab's customers are connected to their remote assets anywhere in the globe.
