Ampcus Inc Names Charles McMahon to Serve as the Vice President - Strategic Initiatives

Ampcus Inc today announced that its board of directors has named Charles McMahon to serve as the company's Vice President - Strategic Initiatives.

McMahon, a longtime executive with Verizon (News - Alert) was responsible for helping the company meet challenges associated with cost reductions, strategic partnering, contractual protections, business development and had served since 2004 as Director of Verizon, (NYSE: VZ), where he has spent his 30-year career in a range of sourcing & contracts, real estate, operations and general management positions. Prior to his current responsibilities, he was Director of Souring and Contracts focused on Information Technology.

Salil Sankaran, Ampcus Inc's President, said that the Ampcus board unanimously selected McMahon based on his track record leading a comple organization, as well as his strong executive and personal qualities.

McMahon will take up his new duties on September 8^th, 2010 and join Ampcus' management team.
