Viewfinity Names John Hamilton as Chief Operating Officer

Viewfinity (www.viewfinity.com), the innovator of privilege and systems management, today announced that it has appointed John Hamilton as its Chief Operating Officer (COO). Hamilton is a technology industry veteran who brings a wealth of executive leadership with a proven track record related to growth in new software product categories. Hamilton will be responsible for further expanding Viewfinity's customer portfolio, developing its long-term sales strategy, and will work closely with Viewfinity's executive management and advisory council to build the business infrastructure that will enable the company to drive to the next level.

John is a seasoned senior executive with extensive management expertise including leadership of global sales and technical services organizations in enterprise software industries, such as Softricity which was acquired by Microsoft (News - Alert) in 2006. John brings to Viewfinity a wealth of experience in management and technology sales with companies ranging in size from start-ups to Fortune 100. Before joining Viewfinity, John was SVP of Sales and Service at xkoto. Prior to xkoto, John was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Trigence. Previous to that, John served as the Vice President, Worldwide Sales at Softricity, Inc., served as Vice President of Sales for Phase Forward, Inc. as part of the Executive Management team helping to take them public, and Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Services, at Concord Communications. Earlier in his career, John worked in various executive sales management positions at FTP Software, EMC (News - Alert), Stratus Computer and IBM.
