The Company noted Hoppe will aggressively grow Violin Memory's network of partnerships with VARs and systems integrators. "He brings valuable experience from his leadership roles at EMC, Oracle and Fusion-io." Before joining Violin Memory, Hoppe developed a formal partner program for Fusion-io, which introduced a PCIe form factor SSD, the Company said. Prior to Fusion-io, Hoppe spent nine years at EMC in several leadership roles. He was responsible for helping develop the CLARiiON Reseller Channel after EMC acquired Data General and was instrumental in the EMC launch of its Service Provider Division that ultimately evolved into the TME Organization. Hoppe began his career in IT at Oracle Corp. where he directed Oracle's Authorized Reseller Program through its inception and growth.
