Avistar Communications Q2 net loss increases


Jul 27, 2010 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Avistar Communications, a provider of unified visual communications, has reported that net loss for the second quarter ended June 30, 2010, was $2.4 million, or $0.06 per share, compared to $151,000, or $0 per share, for the same period of 2009.



Total revenue for the second quarter of 2010 was $1.02 million, compared to $2.88 million, for the same period of 2009.

Net income for the six months ended June 30, 2010, was $7.83 million, or $0.2 per share, compared to a net loss of $566,000, or $0.02 per share, for the same period of 2009. Total revenue was $15.8 million, compared to $5.51 million, for the six months of 2009.
