Central Logic Names Garrett Lyman as VP of Marketing

Jul 27, 2010 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Central Logic, a developer of patient flow software and provider of consultations, announced it has hired technology marketing executive Garrett Lyman to lead its branding, industry visibility, lead generation, and corporate communications programs as the company's new VP of marketing.

With specific expertise in the development and execution of strategic product, channel, customer, partner, and interactive marketing campaigns, Lyman brings more than 20 years of professional communications experience in the enterprise and consumer technology domains to the recently-created role.

The appointment, which further expands Central Logic's senior management team, and strategically supports its ongoing business development and brand-building initiatives within the healthcare sector, follows the company's recent hiring of seasoned technology executive Mike Samuelian as VP of sales.

As VP of marketing, Lyman manages all of Central Logic's strategic branding, marketing, and communications activities, including the creation and orchestration of print and online advertising campaigns, Web site development and maintenance, visual identity creation and standardization, marketing collateral design and production, public relations outreach and supporting programs, social media campaigns and platforms, customer and partner marketing initiatives, and trade show marketing and exhibitions. In addition, he also oversees the company's product marketing management function, including the design of go-to-market strategies for Central Logic's suite of patient flow solutions, and the development of alliance marketing programs to support broader product distribution and market penetration. Along with Samuelian, Lyman reports to Darin Vercillo, MD, co-founder and CEO of Central Logic, and a practicing physician.

Before arriving at Central Logic, Lyman owned and managed his own successful marketing consulting firm, Chrome Media, which developed and executed go-to-market strategies, advertising campaigns, and co-op marketing programs for such distinguished companies and organizations as Utah's Office of Tourism, Wild Oats Markets, Choice Hotels, Spring Wireless, Larry H. Miller Group, CR England, DirectBuy DiskAgent, San Diego History Museum, and BJ's Restaurants.
