York Telecom and the New Jersey Technology Council to Host Event Demonstrating Interoperability Between Various OEM HD Video Endpoints

EATONTOWN, NJ, Jul 23, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- York Telecom Corporation, a leading global provider of visual communications services and solutions, today announced that they will be hosting a technology open house on July 27th demonstrating real time interoperability between Cisco TelePresence and various high definition alternate vendor systems. This exciting demonstration will be a part of the technology exhibition held in conjunction with the New Jersey Technology Council (NJTC) at York Telecom's Eatontown, NJ facility.

The York Telecom demonstration will allow customers to experience a successful video scenario that many are facing as a challenge in today's conferencing environment. Businesses are operating in a technological landscape which is filled with products supplied by various manufacturers, once thought to never be able to communicate.

York Telecom's engineering team, which is certified by all of the major video manufacturers, has been able to assess the specifications of industry products and the needs of the customer base to provide a solution that will allow all major OEM systems to inter-connect real time.

This technology exhibition at York Telecom is being offered to the public at no charge for entry from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm. With ten technology exhibits including the leading visual communication solution providers Cisco, Polycom, Tandberg, and Vidyo, this event is designed to allow users and those new to the industry to see how business video collaboration is advancing to the point where return on investment can be reached in three to six months.

Following the technology exhibition, at 5:00 pm, The New Jersey Technology Council will be hosting a panel discussion entitled "Business Development in Coastal Jersey - Impact of Fort Monmouth Closing," focusing on opportunities and ways to tap into this "displaced" highly talented workforce and land resource. This event will feature a panel discussion featuring Michael Mahon, Mayor, Borough of Oceanport and Gerald Tarantolo, Mayor, Borough of Eatontown, as well as other prominent business leaders in the community. This is a must-attend event if your company is located in or does business in these two counties. A networking reception will follow this exciting panel discussion.
