(Market Wire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 07/14/10 -- Evernote, makers of the popular multi-platform memory enhancing service, today announced the launch of The Evernote Trunk, a dynamic catalog designed to help users discover complementary products, applications and content that enrich their Evernote experience. The Trunk also provides increased exposure and revenue opportunities to the ever-expanding number of products and services that tie into Evernote's platform for human memory.

The Trunk is built into the desktop and Web versions of Evernote, allowing users to explore dozens of partner offerings, ranging from document scanners to voice transcription services to collaboration platforms to PDF annotation tools. Every product contained within the Evernote Trunk leverages some, or all, of Evernote's powerful features, including cross-platform synchronization, image recognition, note creation and storage. In addition to hardware and software, the Trunk introduces a new distribution opportunity for publishers and content providers with its 'Notebooks' category.

"Evernote's evolution from personal tool to human memory platform has been thrilling," said Phil Libin, CEO of Evernote.
