FastSoft Introduces Interactive Demo for Dynamic Site Acceleration, Free Online Tool

Jul 12, 2010 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- FastSoft, Inc., a Web acceleration software company, unveiled an interactive product demo that visually shows the benefits of its Dynamic Site Acceleration (DSA) solution.

The company said the demo, available at fastsoft.com, shows a side-by-side comparison of Web pages downloading with and without dynamic Web acceleration. It reports page load times in milliseconds and shows which of two Web pages loaded faster and by how much. Visitors can also choose various network settings to get a feel for DSA acceleration.

According to a release, the interactive demo was created using a free online tool called WhichLoadsFaster.com. It allows users to race any two Web pages of their choosing. Network engineers and Web operations teams can use it to compare the speed of their Web pages to those of their competitors.

"WhichLoadsFaster.com started as an open source project to foster friendly competition to make the Web faster," said Ryan Witt, Software Development Lead at FastSoft and creator of WhichLoadsFaster.com. "And it works on your connection, on your browser and lets two real pages duke it out in front of you." More Information: www.fastsoft.com ((Comments on this story may be sent to [email protected]))
