Irish Dairy Board implements Sterling's e-invoicing solution

Jun 25, 2010 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Sterling Commerce, an AT&T company, has announced that the Irish Dairy Board has implemented Sterling's e-invoicing solution to reduce the debtor collection period and improve order-to-cash processes.

Irish Dairy Board (IDB), an existing user of Sterling Integrator, Sterling Commerce's enterprise integration platform, chose Sterling e-invoicing as an on-premise add-on, making improved set up and return on investment. Sterling e-invoicing handles both PDF signature authentication and electronic data interchange invoice processing, allowing businesses of all sizes to trade with IDB.

Sean Flynn, business analyst at IDB, said: "The scale of the software solution is a match for our large customer base and multiple day-to-day business processes. The feed from the enterprise resource planning system is totally automatic, eliminating the need for manual printing of invoices for dispatch to the customer. The time and cost savings are substantial. We want to make it as easy as possible for partners and customers to do business with us, and the feedback has already been very positive." http://www.datamonitor.com Republication or redistribution, including by framing or similar means, is expressly prohibited without prior written consent.
