Sixnet Hires 3 New Executives

Jun 25, 2010 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Sixnet, a developer of machine-to-machine (M2M) networking solutions for industrial and commercial markets, announced the hiring of three new executives: Denis Aull, executive VP and general manager of wireless solutions; Ann Correa, VP of engineering for industrial networking; and Mark Lincoln, VP of operations for corporate manufacturing.

In a release, the company noted: Aull has a background in product development, general management and strategic planning for both large and small organizations in the communications industry. His experience includes improving business performance and operational effectiveness at Avaya, Intel, Cross Match and Telebit. As executive VP and general manager for wireless solutions, Aull will establish Sixnet's wireless strategy and oversee the development of all operational and tactical plans.

Joining Sixnet as VP of engineering, Correa will oversee product development and collaborate with functional teams to roll out product offerings that meet market needs. Previously, Correa managed engineering and product development at several venture-backed startups such as Ellacoya Networks, Chipcom (acquired by 3Com), Cadia Networks (acquired by Fore Systems) and Redstone Communications (acquired by Siemens). In these roles, she developed a carrier-class 10-Gigabit Ethernet broadband service optimization platform and ERX edge router platforms.

As VP of operations, Lincoln brings more than 25 years of experience in international manufacturing management, process engineering, product introduction, outsourcing and supply chain development to Sixnet. Prior to joining Sixnet, he served as senior director of operations and head of strategic planning for worldwide operations at MKS Instruments, where he was responsible for the development and implementation of global operations strategies. Lincoln also led strategic planning and process management for ALCOA Advanced Technologies.
