Infoblox introduces Infoblox OS1 Orchestration Server(Telecomworldwire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Infoblox Inc has introduced the Infoblox OS1 Orchestration Server (IBOS), an appliance that automatically aggregates, correlates and distributes data to and from different IP connected systems in real time, the provider of platforms for core network services said on Monday. According to the company, the server, based on the Interface to Metadata Access Points (IF-MAP) standard from the Trusted Computing Group (TCG), replaces complex and costly system integration with a standards-based approach that enables automation of a wide range of systems, processes and applications. The IBOS is the first dedicated MAP server appliance. It is fully compliant with the latest version of the IF-MAP standard (version 1.1) and can exchange data with any compliant device that implements the IF-MAP client. The appliance, delivered on the Infoblox NIOS operating system, also provides value-added capabilities, including high-availability operation with no data loss, granular client authorisation that limits the types of data that can be viewed or modified by each client and data browsing and log management capabilities. The solution is available on a range of Infoblox appliance platforms, enabling customers to scale MAP deployments from tens of thousands to millions of meta-data objects. In addition, it can support thousands of publish, search and subscribe operations per second. Pricing starts at USD5,495 in the USA.
