SANBlaze Enhances ATCA Storage Blade

SANBlaze has qualified 600GB SAS drives from multiple suppliers (Toshiba and Seagate), providing ATCA systems designers 3.6 TB of enterprise storage in a single ATCA slot.

Storage software enhancements have been made to the ATCA1000 through its ninth release of updated functionality and enhancements. Key features of the latest release include: -Enhanced GUI -- including setup wizards -Support for Active Directory -Support for IPV6 -Ethernet port bonding -ISCSI discovery filter, speeds up VMWARE boot "As more customers deploy in-chassis ATCA storage using the ATCA1000, they're bringing ideas and focus for specific new enterprise class product features," said Steve Looby, Director of Product Management at SANBlaze. "Along with several deployment-specific features, ease-of-use and configurability rated pretty high. With our in-house software development team, we're taking all of this customer input to deliver continuous feature and usability enhancements." Utilizing 600G SAS drives, 3.6 TB ATCA storage bundles are available now. Software release RC92 is immediately available for customers via secure download.
