Vaco, LA's "Best Place to Work," Supports Kidsave Fundraiser

LOS ANGELES --(Business Wire)--

Vaco, a leading consulting and placement firm recently named the #1 Best Place to Work and #15 Fastest Growing Privately Held Company in Los Angeles by the Los Angeles Business Journal, is enthusiastically supporting the upcoming Kidsave benefit, "Kidsave Rocks the House of Blues" on Saturday, June 5, 6:00pm to midnight at the House of Blues, Sunset Strip, and invites the community to attend. According to Frances Moreno, managing partner of Vaco and co-chair of the event, "On of the reasons Vaco was selected as the #1 Best Place to Work is our emphasis on work/life balance. This is just one example. Our employees love to support the community, and being able to do that as a part of their work life is a huge bonus. We're delighted to be an ongoing supporter of Kidsave and to have the opportunity to play such a key role in this great event. Everyone who attends will be touched by these kids, so we're excited to have the community join us in supporting them and helping them find families and meaningful relationships with adults."

Kidsave's mission is to give children growing up without parents in U.S. foster care and in orphanages around the world the opportunity to visit with families and build caring, stable relationships with adults. Since 1999, more than 3,000 children have found parents and lasting adult connections because of Kidsave programs. The organization works as a catalyst for change, training social workers, orphanage workers and volunteers to help kids find permanent families; and change practices, laws and public financing to increase permanent family care for orphans and youth in foster care. Thousands more orphans and children in foster care around the globe have parents and lasting connections because of Kidsave training and advocacy efforts.

All are invited to attend and support the "Kidsave Rocks the House of Blues" benefit and fundraiser, which will feature Queen Nation, a tribute to the music of Queen; a silent auction; a raffle; a live auction; cocktails, appetizers and dinner; and an after-party at the Foundation Room - Parrish Room. All proceeds will benefit Kidsave. House of Blues, Sunset Strip is located at 8430 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles. Tickets and sponsorships are available by contacting Frances Moreno at (310) 693-0491 or Dora Cerrillos at (818) 554-3055 of Vaco Los Angeles, or by calling the Kidsave office at (310) 642-7283, x17.

In addition to Moreno's role as co-chair of the event, several other Vaco partners and employees are aiding in the event planning and organizing and are volunteering at the affair. Vaco is also an event sponsor. Vaco has supported Kidsave for four years and Moreno currently serves as a member of the organization's board.
