WebSafety's CEO, Rowland Day, Applauds Oprah Winfrey's "National No Phone Zone Day" Television Segment for Bringing Needed Attention to a Deadly Social Obsession, Texting and Driving

WebSafety's (OTCBB: WBSI) CEO, Rowland Day, applauds Oprah Winfrey's "National No Phone (News - Alert) Zone Day" television segment. Mr. Day states, "We are pleased that Ms. Oprah Winfrey continues to bring much needed attention to the deadly social obsession of texting while driving.

"Obtaining a commitment that a person will refrain from an action is a good start; however, many teenagers, young adults and employees may lack the self-discipline to honor such a total commitment and may justify the need to text while driving. Sometimes the temptation of social pressure, the perceived need to respond to work related issues or the 'I must do this now' attitude allows the driver to justify the texting or the reading of the received written communication on the phone. The legal and moral liability associated with the texting while driving action imposes severe consequences to the driver, employer and possibly the parents.

"When the consequences to the action is destruction of property or even life itself, a more effective solution must be available, that is the reason we created our CellSafety software application. CellSafety disables the texting and email functions and still allows the driver to communicate by voice with his phone within a hands free environment.
