[February 17, 2010] 'Yougetitback.com wins deal with European mobile operator' Tweet (DMeurope Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Ireland-based Yougetitback.com, specialist provider of mobile phone protection and recovery software, has won a contract from a major mobile operator in Europe, reports SiliconRepublic.com. This new deal will see Yougetitback.com security software installed on the operator's new smartphones. A similar deal is also being negotiated with a US electronics retailer to protect laptops. Yougetitback.com's software technology allows people who find missing handset or laptops to contact their owner. It also allows a device to be tracked via GPS and locked down if stolen. Wayne Morgan of YouGetitback.com said that its software was now available as an app on Windows Mobile, BlackBerry and Symbian, and will be available for Google Android devices from April.
