Dorset Police invites bids for IT services

Feb 10, 2010 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- The Dorset Police has issued a tender to procure consulting, software development, internet and support services.

The deal includes a provision for an automatic call distribution system (ACD) for the Dorset Police to extend the existing ACD capability from a previously installed system in 2007.

The deal has two options, the first includes the provision for an ACD system at Dorset Police headquarters fully integrated with the existing system and the second option includes the provision of an ACD system at Dorset Police headquarters along with full or part replacement of the existing ACD system.

The Dorset Police will conduct evaluations to select either of the options. The potential bidders will be able to provide costs for each option they are interested to apply. The deadline for receiving the entries is March 5, 2010.
