[February 09, 2010] Aurora Networks appoints new vice president of worldwide sales Tweet Feb 09, 2010 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Aurora Networks, an optical transport solution provider, has appointed Pirjo Tuomi as vice president of worldwide sales. Most recently, Ms Tuomi served as senior vice president of worldwide sales and field operations for Vello Systems, a provider of optical transport and DWDM technologies. Previously, she was senior vice president for worldwide sales at BigBand Networks, a provider of triple-play solutions to cable and telecom operators. Before BigBand acquired ADC's cable-focused product line, Ms Tuomi was vice president for product marketing management at ADC. She started at BAS as vice president of worldwide sales. She also held management positions with Nortel, ICL Data/Nokia Data and Finnish Telecom, now Telia Sonera.
