BRIEF: Verizon extends free calls to HaitiFeb 01, 2010 (Tri-City Herald - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Verizon Wireless will continue to waive long-distance charges on calls made to Haiti through Feb. 14. The waiver applies to calls made from the company's residential landlines and wireless phones.
