[January 18, 2010] Openwave and Digital Solutions Group Partner to Provide Mobile Data Solutions Tweet Jan 18, 2010 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Openwave Systems Inc., a developer of mediation platforms and tools to mobilize the Internet, announced a joint collaboration with Digital Solutions Group, a provider of online strategy consulting, web application development and hosting and management services,. According to the companies, the agreement is for DSG to distribute Openwave products while providing professional services to operators in Africa and sub-Saharan markets. The solutions will consist of Openwave's context-aware mobile internet mediation and mobile analytics offerings, with professional services from DSG. The integrated solution is designed to be a way for mobile operators to monitor, manage and monetize the mobile internet in markets. "Operators in markets are exploring ways to deliver mobile internet services that can help them effectively compete in the open internet," said Alan Park, senior vice president of Worldwide Sales, Openwave. "Openwave's context-aware mediation and mobile internet solutions enable partners and customers to create and deliver mobile internet services that can help them add intelligence to all types of traffic including web, voice, messaging and video." The initial roll out of the software solution will be powered by the Openwave Mobile Internet ReadySet, a prepackaged platform that provides operators with a central point from which to offer new, revenue generating, mobile internet services. This roll out will be accompanied by Openwave Mobile Analytics, a solution that provides analytics and reporting for mobile devices, as it is designed to offer network operations managers and marketing executives a view across all aspects of mobile data activity.
