[January 15, 2010] Numerex enters UK with Vodafone agreement Tweet Jan 15, 2010 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- Numerex Corp (Nasdaq: NMRX), a single source provider of secure machine-to-machine (M2M) products and services, has entered into an agreement with Vodafone Ltd (LSE:VOD) (NYSE:VOD), a mobile telecommunications group, which provides Numerex with access to Vodafone's extensive data networks in UK. Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed. The company plans to offer Vodafone's data networks to its customers as part of Numerex DNA (Device, Network and Application) and the Numerex FAST platform along with an array of other M2M products and services. Numerex said that it will use Vodafone's pervasive cellular footprint to assist M2M companies in bringing their innovative wireless solutions to market. It will simplify the development and implementation of M2M applications by providing a complete solution infrastructure, including hardware integration and certification support; application development hosting and maintenance; and back-end support services such as billing, 24/7 customer care, web-based management tools and training and distribution services.
