GN Netcom unveils Jabra GO 6430 wireless headset

Dec 10, 2009 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- Headset solutions developer GN Netcom has announced the Jabra GO 6430, a Bluetooth wireless headset that unites mobile phones and computer-based VoIP.

According to the company, the headset features multiuse connectivity, enabling workers to manage calls from their computer and mobile phones.

It includes a travel charger and the Jabra LINK 350 USB Bluetooth adapter that delivers wideband audio and a wireless range of 300ft.

The product also incorporates plug and play for easy set up with Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 R2 and remote call control, which enables users to adjust volume, as well as answer, end and mute calls directly from the headset.

The device also features up to six hours of talk time, 100 hours of standby time and an intelligent sleep-mode that conserves power when not active.

In addition, the headset offers a range of comfort and safety features.

Improved ergonomics include lightweight, allergy-tested materials, a comfortable ear hook and optional headband and neckband for use when in the office, while Jabra SafeTone technology provides auditory protection by cutting off sound spikes and sudden loud noises.

No pricing details were disclosed.
