SLG releases BeamReader PDF viewer in beta on Android market(Telecomworldwire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) SLG Mobile Inc, a software company that specialises in the development of document and file management solutions for mobile devices, today announced the release of its BeamReader PDF viewer for the Android platform. The company said that the application is now available in beta version on the Android market. The application is a part of the Blackberry version of the PDF viewer, which the company says is a full fidelity PDF viewer with the capability to render a document using the original fonts, imaging and formatting to display the document in the same way it would be viewed on a PC. SLG also said that it is in discussions with Android device manufacturers to deploy the application pre-installed on their devices.
