[November 24, 2009] 'Arris offers Docsis 3.0 broadband across Czech Republic' Tweet Nov 24, 2009 (DMEUROPE via COMTEX) -- Broadband local access network equipment provider Arris and its value-added reseller LICA have deployed the Docsis 3.0 C4 CMTS' at four multiple systems operators across the Czech Republic. The companies now deploying the service are Elsat, BKS Capital Partners, Self Servis, and Kabelova Televize Koprivnice. Approximately 93 percent of the Czech Republic's 1.2 million homes passed by cable are served by Elsat, BKS, Self Servis and UPC Czech Republic. The Arris Docsis 3.0 CMTS consists of the C4 CMTS and WBM760B wideband modems, capable of delivering high speed data service. The technology is based on the Docsis 3.0 standard that supports both upstream and downstream channel bonding capabilities.
