Wireless technology company Option (Euronext:OPTI) announced today that
its GTM501, the world's smallest 3G module and one of Option's
broadband wireless breakthroughs, will be used in MOTO Development
Group's Android 2.0 Media Platform (AMP).
Financial details of the deployment were not available.
Option said that its GTM501 reduces time-to-market for next-generation
multi-touch consumer and enterprise electronics device developers.
MOTO Development Group recently launched its AMP development platform
for consumer and enterprise electronics designed to run Google's
Android 2.0 mobile operating system.
MOTO's 5 inch handheld AMP development platform, running Android 2.0

The pocket and tablet form factor mobile computing and entertainment
