[November 23, 2009] ManTech Gets U.S. Army Deal Tweet Nov 24, 2009 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- ManTech International announced that it has received a five-year, $286 million contract from the U.S. Army Electronic Proving Ground (EPG) at Fort Huachuca. "Our successful award on this program is the result of our exceptional teamwork and leadership, innovative network test tools and resource optimization applications, and competitive cost structure," said Louis Addeo, President, ManTech Technical Services Group. "We look forward to putting our innovations and efficiencies to work for this critical component of the U.S. Army testing community." Under the competitively awarded contract, ManTech will support testing for Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I), navigation, and sensor systems for reliability, availability and maintainability, electromagnetic interference/electromagnetic compatibility, and security. ManTech will provide a full spectrum of services including scientific, engineering, technical, administrative, maintenance and logistics. Other services may include instrumentation and hardware/software-related development, as well as laboratory/testbed operations and special studies. ManTech personnel will support EPG in Fort Huachuca; Yuma Proving Ground, AZ; Fort's Hood and Bliss, TX; Fort Lewis, WA; Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD; and White Sands Missile Range, NM. "We are acutely aware of the importance of EPG's mission to provide quality, efficient, timely, value added test services and comprehensive C4I system, system of systems and network performance information," said Lawrence B. Prior, III, President and Chief Operating Officer, ManTech International. "While this is a new award, we have extensive experience throughout ManTech supporting C4I systems and providing testing and evaluation services, and we are eager to help EPG achieve its mission." EPG is the Army's C4I developmental tester headquartered at Fort Huachuca. They are a test center of the U.S. Army Developmental Test Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, which in turn is part of the U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command, headquartered in Alexandria, VA.
