There is speculation that legislation on the proposed separation of Telstra will not be debated on 26 November and senators have suggested it is unlikely the reforms will be voted on in coming days. Australian Communications Minister, Stephen Conroy, claims his telco Bill must be passed by 31 December in order to achieve improvements to industry competition.
