Windows 7 on track after early shortages

Nov 23, 2009 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The Windows 7 operating system software product newly released by Microsoft has been a success, with many corporate customers already making the switch to it. However, retailers suffered some supply shortages in the first days following the official launch. Microsoft says the problem only affected some versions of the software, and it reacted quickly to boost supply. Among the businesses adopting Windows 7 are Superpartners, Medibank Private and Allianz.
