CDC Software announces financial results for Q3 2009Nov 23, 2009 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- Enterprise software applications and services provider CDC Software Corporation (Nasdaq:CDCS) announced on Monday financial results for the quarter ended 30 September 2009. For Q3 2009, the company reported revenue of USD48.6m, non-GAAP earnings per share of USD0.33, non-GAAP net income of USD9.6m, net income attributable to controlling interest of USD6.2m and net income attributable to controlling interest earnings per share of USD0.22. Q3 2009 non-GAAP earnings per share and net income attributable to controlling interest exceeded First Call consensus estimates, which were USD0.30 and USD4.6m, respectively, the company said. Revenue, non-GAAP net income and net income attributable to controlling interest in Q3 2008 were USD60.5m, USD8.8m and USD4.2m, respectively. In addition, the company increased its operating cash flow in Q3 2009 to USD19.2m compared to USD6.3m in Q3 2008, representing a 205% improvement. For the nine months ended 30 September 2009, the company reported revenue of USD149.6m, non-GAAP net income and non-GAAP earnings per share of USD26.4m and USD0.91, respectively. Net income attributable to controlling interest for the first nine months of 2009 was USD16.2m. This compares to revenue of USD186.5m, non-GAAP net income of USD15.9m and net income attributable to controlling interest of USD4.0m for the nine months ended 30 September 2008. In addition, GAAP net income margin improved to 12.8% in Q3 2009 compared to 7.0% in Q3 2008. Gross margin was 56% during Q3 2009, which was flat compared to the same quarter of 2008.
