[November 23, 2009] Huawei to Set up Innovation Center in Germany Tweet SHENZHEN, Nov 23, 2009 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. lately signed a letter of intent with Jurgen Ruttgers, governor of North Rhine-Westphalia State, Germany, about its establishment of an innovation center in the state's capital city of Dusseldorf, citing a report. The Chinese telecoms equipment provider is set to start the project in 2010 with an investment of about USD 29.8 million and recruit 200 local engineers for the center, which is also expected to cooperate with local universities in R&D.
