Acxiom Makes InformationWeek's 500 List

Nov 17, 2009 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Acxiom, a supplier of interactive marketing services and infrastructure management solutions, announced it ranked in the top 13 percent on the 2009 InformationWeek 500, an annual ranking of the 500 most innovative users of business technology in the United States.

This year's rank of 63 marks the highest achieved by Acxiom in its six consecutive years on the list.

"Acxiom has made a concerted investment in Internet, cloud and related platforms over the past 18 months, and that investment is paying off in the way we're able to integrate and streamline our offerings to support client engagements," said John Meyer, Acxiom CEO and president.

The InformationWeek 500 tracks the technology, strategies, investments and administrative practices of the best-known U.S. companies. Several Acxiom clients earned spots on the list this year as well, reflecting the caliber of the business relationships Acxiom has formed through the years.

"We rely on Acxiom's technology to allow us to focus on enabling our business value for our customers," said Manoj Kulkarni, senior VP and CIO of Career Education. "The recognition by InformationWeek confirms our trust in Acxiom for technology development and service. With both of us ranking highly on the InformationWeek 500, it proves the power of our partnership." According to Acxiom, the company was recognized in three areas that ultimately resulted in its top 100 ranking: commercial-grade cloud computing initiatives, standardization initiatives and multichannel products and solutions for clients.
