OTC Systems Licenses Pageflex Storefront
Nov 20, 2009 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) --
Pageflex, a division of Bitstream and a developer of enterprise variable publishing and web-to-print solutions, announced that Pageflex Storefront has been licensed by OTC Systems, a provider of direct marketing, variable data publishing and lead generation services based in London, Ontario, Canada.
OTC Systems currently licenses Pageflex Server and the Pageflex Cross Media Module.
Before licensing Pageflex Storefront, OTC Systems said it utilized a web-to-print solution they developed themselves. With this solution, they were able provide business-to-business solutions for their clients in a remotely hosted environment. As they looked to expand their services, OTC Systems chose Pageflex Storefront as a way to supplement their current web-to-print solution and expand their services into the consumer market. Pageflex Storefront includes e-commerce tools - like shopping carts, skinning and integrated e-commerce features - that enable OTC Systems to deploy sites geared toward consumers.
Using Pageflex as a technology base, OTC Systems developed their marketing portal which gives their customers a place to manage and develop variable marketing programs using personalized URLs, imagery, on-line editing, web-to-print outputs, integrated postage, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), corporate data analytics and production automation.
Bitstream is a software development company providing products including fonts and font rendering software, mobile browsing, variable data publishing, and Web-to-print software for personalized marketing.
