X1 Unveils Updates to X1 Server V3.3

Nov 20, 2009 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- X1 Technologies, Inc. announced the immediate availability of its X1 Server V3.3.

According to X1, features of the updated X1 Server V3.3 include: - 64-bit Microsoft Windows Server 2008 support.

- Search enhancements allowing for proximity search to support "OR" phrases. Example: a search for "pet NEAR (dog OR cat)" would return results for the word "pet" only if it appeared near the words dog or cat.

- Enhancements which now provide exporting, reporting and faceting to be enabled from within an X1 "saved search." - The addition of new reporting tools which include the ability to create pivot-table-like results summaries.

"With the current economic environment, organizations are in greater need than ever for dramatic ROIs. They are looking for ways to save money and lower costs now and going forward," said John Waller, CEO, X1 Technologies. "Return on Time (ROT) is where companies can really see the benefits. By using X1 to make people more efficient at work, what took minutes or hours to find can be done in seconds, thus increasing productivity and reducing wasted time going forward." X1 Technologies is a developer of search and eDiscovery solutions.
