Glyde Launches Online Marketplace for Used GoodsNov 21, 2009 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Glyde announced it has launched Glyde.com, an online marketplace for buying and selling used books, CDs, DVDs and video games. According to Glyde, the marketplace is designed for the millions of Americans who have unwanted items on their shelves, but don't sell online because it's too complicated. On Glyde, anyone can make extra money by selling online - no pictures, no postage, no packaging, and no research are required. Glyde streamlines the entire selling process, from listing to payment. Anyone with access to the Internet and a mailbox can sell online in seconds by entering the title, selecting the image and clicking the condition. Then Glyde automatically recommends a fair market value for the item and presents an option to donate all or part of the item's proceeds to a favorite charity. Glyde was founded by executives from eBay, AOL and Excite. ((Comments on this story may be sent to [email protected])) |
