As part of the agreement, Qik said it is integrating its Mobile Live Streaming technology with VMIX's Online Video Platform to provide VMIX clients with a single solution for live, mobile and on-demand video. "We're seeing great interest in live streaming from media, non-profit, education and enterprise customers," said Qik CEO and Founder Ramu Sunkara. "VMIX's success in providing total online video solutions for these markets made them a natural choice as a partner. VMIX said it will be demonstrating their integration with Qik mobile live streaming next week at Streaming Media West 2009. VMIX Media is a provider of online video and media management solutions.
