[November 21, 2009] Cypress Semiconductor to Trade on NASDAQ Tweet Nov 20, 2009 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Cypress Semiconductor announced it has begun trading its stock on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol CY, shifting from the New York Stock Exchange. The company's CEO, T.J. Rodgers, will mark the date by ringing the NASDAQ Opening Bell remotely at 6:30 a.m. PST from Cypress's headquarters in San Jose, Calif. Cypress is a developer of mixed-signal, programmable solutions. Cypress offerings include the flagship PSoC programmable system-on-chip families and derivatives such as PowerPSoC solutions for high-voltage and LED lighting applications, CapSense touch sensing and TrueTouch solutions for touchscreens.
